For just $33, you can give the gift of a dog bed. A generous volunteer Darrell Murphy has graciously donated his time to refurbish the Kuranda frames for another year of stuffie snuggling for the dogs at ACPS. F O L L O W on F A C E B O O K F O L L O W on X (formerly T W I T T E R) F O L L O W on I N S T A G R A M HOLIDAY TREATS THAT GO TO THE DOGS Recipe courtesy of I Don't Have Time for That.   Ingredients 2 cups wheat flour 1 ½ cup chicken stock 1 cup rolled oats 1 cup lentils prepared following package directions and drained ½ cup fresh cranberries chopped ⅓ cup celery diced 1 egg Instructions Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Combine flour, chicken stock, oats, cooked lentils, cranberries, celery and egg in a large bowl, Mix well with fingers. If the mixture is too dry, add chicken stock. On a floured surface use a rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/2" thickness. Cut out shapes and place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. If you are shaking your head yes, read on … The volunteers at Animal Care and Protective Services (ACPS) are organizing “Secret Santa” for the animals. You can become a Secret Santa for a cat, a dog or both by filling out the form at the link below: https://forms.gle/Mi9dAhBhD3tdX5977 Once ACPS receives your form, they will email a wish list for you to choose that special gift for your dog or cat. If you purchase from the wish list, the gift will be sent directly to ACPS. If you choose to buy something else, you can either drop the gift off at the shelter or mail the gift to the gift to the shelter c/o Secret Santa/ACPS/FOJA, 2020 Forest Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204. The shelter is open Monday-Friday from 12-7 and Saturday-Sunday from 10-6. No matter how you give, please be sure to include your name, so we can thank you. Now the best and most fun part … keep an eye out on the Secret Santa page … as the volunteers give the animals their gifts, they will post fun videos and pictures as a thank you to our wonderful Secret Santas.
