Mutts & Mimosas is Back October 21st 11am-2pm

Mutts & Mimosas is back! This year's Halloween themed event will be held on Saturday October 21, 11:00 am-2:00 pm - hosted by Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel, 10605 Deerwood Park Blvd (there is now shaded covering on the patio). There will be games, raffles, auction items, and live music. Below is the Eventbrite reservation link: $35 - brunch buffet and 1 Mimosa or $45 - brunch buffet and bottomless Mimosas. We can't wait to see all the pups dressed up for Halloween!

Pints For A Purpose Jaguars vs. Eagles Watch Party

Friends of Jacksonville Animals invite you to Strings Sports Brewery to watch the Jaguars take on the Eagles on October 2. We will have an autographed helmet by Head Coach Doug Pederson raffled off. Each raffle ticket is $10 (cash or credit). FOJA is the proud recipient of Strings Pints For A Purpose charitable program in which FOJA will receive 5% of all beers sales for the month of October. Please join us to cheer on the Jaguars next victory while raising funds and awareness for the shelter animals at Animal Care and Protective Service!

Calling all dog lovers- join us at Wicked Barley for Pupchella: A Festival for Dogs. Bring the pup and join us in the Beer Garden on Sunday, May 24th for Sunday Funday with live music, local vendors and more! Wicked Barley will be donating a portion of the Beer Garden sales to Friends of Jacksonville Animals, Inc., a non profit fundraising group that advocates for Animal Care and Protective Services.

Start the party on Thursday, March 19th at Green Room Brewing (228 3rd Street N. Jax Beach) from 6-10 pm. You'll be able to pick up your t-shirt and goodie bag, check out the raffle items, enjoy some free grub and live music. The party continues on Saturday, March 21st at Graffiti Junktion with check-in and registration at 12:00 noon.

Tickets are $25 online presale until the pre-party (March 19th). Tickets will be $30 online after March 19th and in person on March 21st at the door. To guarantee yourself an awesome t-shirt, purchase your ticket in advance.

Enjoy a brunch buffet, refreshing mimosas, live music, and a silent auction all while benefiting Friends of Jacksonville Animals!

A portion of ticket proceeds to benefit Friends of Jacksonville Animals. Ticket prices will increase at the door and seating is limited.

Friends of Jacksonville Animals will gladly accept the following donations on behalf of the shelter on the day of the event: canned dog food, canned cat food, spray cheese, Velveeta cheese blocks, Pup-Peroni soft dog treats, Milk Bones dog treats, and large Kongs, medium and large snap dog collars, and puzzle feeders.

Hambingo at Hamburger Mary's Benefiting FOJA

HamBINGO Mary’s is a weekly charity event held in Hamburger Mary’s Dining Room every Monday and Thursday evening (7pm)… with a different charity beneficiary every week. Hosted by some of Jacksonville’s most fabulous drag queens, you know this is NOT your typical “church basement bingo!” The show can get a little risqué, so enjoy the drink specials! It’s all about having fun while supporting local Jacksonville charities.

Guests are asked to make a $10 donation to play all night. If you want more chances to win, additional cards are available. The money collected for the Bingo cards goes directly to that night’s charity! We sometimes feature special shots and drink specials that benefit the charity as well, so “eat, drink, and be… MARY!”

Join Team FOJA or donate to one of our team members for the Best Friends Strut Your Mutt charity walk. Donations to the Friends of Jacksonville Animals team will stay local and go directly to the animals of Duval county supporting medical needs of shelter pets.

Our goal this year is $30,000. We came close last year thanks to all of YOU!

Join the team today (or donate to another team member) now and come out and have fun with us in October.

We're excited that this year's event will be in late October when temperatures will be more comfortable for walkers and the dogs.
